For the first time, BITZER now offers a new range of compressor units for use with the natural refrigerant ammonia (R717). The BITZER ammonia compressor packs (ACP) are available with a capacity range of 100 to 450 TR. The new product series will be launched in North and South America within the next few months, followed by Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. After a period of intensive development, the innovative product is celebrating its premiere at the IIAR trade fair in Nashville, USA, where BITZER will be showcasing a fully functional ammonia compressor pack.
The modular compressor units comprise up to three compressors. For higher capacities, as
many as three compressor packs can be connected (up to 9 compressors) and connected to a
single controller, increasing the overall capacity up to 1200 TR. This is ideal for industrial
systems.
